Worm Jello
Would you like to camp all summer?
When my mom was nine years old, she and her sister got to do that while helping their dad as his camp cooks.
One day they decided to make Jello for dessert, but because they didn’t use boiling water, it didn’t set. Trying not to waste it, they drank the liquid Jello, only to discover that a worm had fallen into it! Embarrassed and feeling guilty, they hid the whole mishap from their dad until he encouraged them to tell the truth.
Once they admitted their mistake and apologized, they were forgiven, and their guilt disappeared.
Remember that when you feel guilty, God is always ready to forgive. Once you admit your mistake and ask for forgiveness, you can watch all your guilt melt away like ice cream… or Jello on a hot summer day!
