The Sharing Woman of Shunem – Part 2

When her son died, the Woman of Shunem refused to lose hope. She laid him on the bed in Elisha's room and quickly set out to find the prophet. Although Elisha first sent his servant Gehazi ahead with his staff, the boy did not come back to life, so Elisha returned with the woman to her home.
When Prophet Elisha arrived, he went into the room alone and prayed to God. Then he gave the boy a great, big hug and continued praying. He hugged the boy again and then, suddenly, the boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
The grateful mother thanked Elisha and then joyfully gave her son another great, big hug.
The Woman of Shunem shared her space – her house. She even built a room for Prophet Elisha, and because she shared, God sent her some very special blessings!
