Earth had a beginning, and the Bible tells how God created it, but there is an important story that happened even before that!
God created angels to live in Heaven. One of these angels was Lucifer. He was very beautiful but became proud. Lucifer began spreading lies about God because he wanted to take God’s place as leader. This led to a “war” in Heaven.
Would the angels choose to believe Lucifer’s lies, or would they believe that God was truly loving? Finally, Lucifer (now called Satan) and his followers were cast out, but the struggle continues today as people choose whether to believe God’s truth or Satan’s lies.
