This story is about my mom when she was a little girl. In a one-room schoolhouse, she was given an assignment to write a letter to Santa. Although all the students received gifts matching what they asked for, she did not. Find out what she asked for and why she was given something else!
Her story reminds me of many Bible stories when people asked Jesus for a gift. They usually asked to be healed, and they always got what they asked for, but Jesus also gave them another gift – the gift of love and understanding.
God loves and understands each person. He LOVES giving good gifts to everyone who asks, and, in fact, every good thing in your life is a gift from God.
