There are seven days in a week, and during creation week God made light, air, l
and and plants, the sun and moon, fish, birds, animals, and humans in six days.
On the seventh day, God finished His work, rested, and made that day special, calling it the Sabbath.
God wasn’t tired. His rest showed His love for us and gives us special time each week to spend with Him. Even though sin separates us from God now, we can grow our friendship with Him by learning from the Bible, praying, singing, and caring for others.
